Point2 Realty Solutions Inc. ("Point2") recently announced
the release of 'Agent Handshake™.' Handshake allows real estate
professionals to determine exactly where and how their listings
are displayed on the Point2 Agent Network.
The aptly named Agent Handshake allows
members to 'agree' with other members to display each other's
listings on their websites. Members can control the sharing
arrangement with any and all agents on the Network.
"Agents have quickly recognized that these
sharing arrangements have everyone's best interests in mind;
listing agents increase exposure for their properties, buyer's
agents increase their inventory, and homebuyers and sellers
get the information they need to make decisions," says Brendan
King of Point2. "The Network thrives on the idea that agents
are in the best position to determine where their listings
are advertised."
The Network has grown to over 17,000 real
estate professionals in the 11 months since it was introduced.
The network's growth is a direct result of its members spreading
the word to others in the real estate community.
Members on the Network use software called
"Point2 Agent" to get the rich listing information necessary
to make buying decisions in front of relevant, motivated homebuyers.
To achieve this, the software allows agents to build and host
virtual office websites (VOW's). Each VOW is constantly communicating
with other VOW's throughout the Network to immediately inform
applicable buyers of any new listings added to the Network.
Network Members control whose listings
appear on their website and how those listings are displayed.
Additionally, they can track activity and send branded email
and print brochures of any listings they are sharing. Point2
Agent's latest version also includes upgrades to existing
features including an advanced Home Search and additional
statistics and reporting tools.
